Richard Luthmann and I were back discussing the new Pope Leo XIV.
Richard stated emphatically three weeks ago that we would never see an American Pope, but then, Pope Leo XIV was born in a Chicago suburb.
Richard claimed he wasn’t an American Pople because Pope Leo XIV has spent his adult life primarily in South America.
We then debated the recent trade deal between the US and England.
I previously stated that Trump’s trade policy hinged on securing trade deals. This was the first, however, the happy talk about a deal with China was subterfuge, in my opinion.
Both countries agreed to reduce tariffs on each other. Trump has claimed that tariffs create pressure and bring countries to the bargaining table. If that’s the case, reducing them goes against his philosophy.
The markets have reacted positively, but that only brings them near the levels they were at before he announced the tariffs.

In the What the Hales segment, we discussed the stunning court documents I dug up. Jeremy Hales caused two of his children to develop post-traumatic stress disorder because of his abuse.
This was a motion and Hales supporters quickly lied, claiming it was denied. It was granted, and later, Jeremy Hales agreed to a consent order which gave him no contact with his daughter, unless she initiated it.
Hales divorce lasted from 2014-2023, and in the end, he agreed to have no contact with the two children who were under eighteen.
Jeremy Hales is an abuser; after he was done physically abusing his family, he legally abused them. Once he could no longer abuse them, he found others to abuse. Hence, there is an incomprehensible lawsuit against eleven defendants, including Richard Luthmann.
I also updated Mike Kerry’s story. Kerry’s ex-wife, Ana Rojas, is a diplomat who was caught on video hitting their toddler son. Not only was that covered up, but eventually, Mike was charged with violating a restraining order which doesn’t exist.

Finally, we welcomed Dave Weigel back. Dave has a new family court project where he asks family court victims to make videos which are approximately three minutes long describing their case.
He hopes to take these videos to the US Department of Justice in hopes of creating prosecutions. Dave came on about 1:08:00 in.
