Very interesting recording, Mike. It doesn't take long to realize that "Parental Alienation" launched an industry that put a price tag on every child's head in this country when parents stumbled into a Family Law courtroom in the western world. I knew a mother who grew up in a prominent family in China...She married an American man. After their separation for domestic violence... he began drugging and raping their 12 year old daughter. She went through PA hell for years. I asked Mom how long she had been in California...she said 17 years. That was in 2014. I asked her about Chinese divorces. She said, The Chinese custom was for the father to drop the first family as if they were dead. He would pay child support but never involve himself again with his first crop of children. I asked her to check in with friends in China to see if customs had changed. Sure enough, parental alienation was heating up in China too, after her long absence. It's Global.

This might be off the topic...but, I was struck by the atty's statement in the recording.

"I know if I represent somebody I can't take a position that is contrary to theirs, for the rest of my life."

I wish all attys strictly held and lived by that principal! I have witnessed over decades of being on watch in the courts attys turn on their clients and drop them as soon as the first retainer of $5, 10,15, 20, 25 thousand runs out and the client cannot replenish the money! I have witnessed attys betray their clients and go to opposing side to be paid!
