I appeared with Ed Martin earlier this week on the Pro America Report to talk about reforming our family courts.
We talked about two proposals I have made to reform family courts.
The first is recent- from a modest proposal- which would require the courts to hold a child custody trial no more than a year after the beginning of the case.
The second is a law I have entitled, “The Elaine Pudlowski Act” which is named for a very corrupt guardian ad litem named Elaine Pudlowski.
If The Elaine Pudlowski Act was to become law, all court appointments like guardian ad litem, custody evaluator, parenting coordinator, etc. would all no longer be allowed.
In the show, I explain the benefits of each proposed law, but let’s measure these proposals against my lawmaking philosophy when it comes to reforming courts.
