Most judges give zero shits about the actual law when it doesn't benefit them. Cronyism, nepotism and corruption are pretty much the judicial way. More transparency, which has to be publicly enforced and reported on, and the removal of judicial immunity are necessary at this point for the preservation of Democracy. Decades of abuse and flagrant claims bribes aren't bribes has flooded social media revealing two things. One, judicial corruption is very common all the way up to SCOTUS. Two, nobody is even trying to stop it.
