I thought Los Angeles Stanley Mosk Courthouse was the worst until I had a lovely encounter and ended up in Orange County suing a private investigator (a retired narcotics officer) who was a part of the criminal enterprise involved with covering up a number of deaths out of Southern California connected to tens of millions of dollars of estate embezzlement. That commissioner muted me, did not allow me to hear the trial, ruled against me and I was advised to file a form for technical errors which I did. That commissioner was the same one who ruled on that and denied it. I was told to then report it to the commission on judicial performance and they threw it out. Hopefully president Trump will unravel some of the horrific corruption out of California
In one my D&N cases, CPS gave temporary guardianship (custody) of my two children to the the out of state, Paternal Grandparents. The D&N Petition was filed against my ex husband following Sexual Abuse outcries made by my daughter to a police officer at her school. It was a tragic disaster what happened to my children during the time the paternal grandparents had temporary custody and decision making of the children including my daughter being taken to the doctor for vaginal vulvitis. Her teacher during this time found me at the grocery store across the street from my home to tell me "off record" that something had happened to my daughter and she was walking very weirdly and overly talkative. My ex husband willingly moved out of his home and supposedly into his brothers home so that his parents could stay in his home with my children. He had cameras installed in every room of his home prior to his parents getting the children and he literally watched them from his cell phone, around the clock supposedly from his brothers home. Per CPS he was also able to hear any conversations in the home so they would take the children outside to the backyard to check in on the children. My daughter would continue to make her same outcries and she refused to redact her outcries even when she knew her dad was watching her on camera. I'm shocked to hear how you've only ever seen this happen before a couple of times.
The case you're describing has CPS involvement. CPS often places kids in the custody of relatives. The two cases I discussed involve a judge in a custody case placing the children with a third party. I'm sorry about what happened to you.
My case is a protracted custody case going on for 8 years now. I understand what you mean regarding CPS had involvement but it was the exact same thing down to the reason they supposedly did it. Different family court but the same outcome. Same court orders etc. My ex husband just didn't use our DR judge to do it instead he used CPS. My point is that this (my case) is also a "custody case".
A lot of people use CPS to try and manipulate custody, but as I said, this case is strictly a custody case with no CPS involvement. That's why giving temporary custody to the grandparents is so extraordinary.
And this just came out today from the association of Deputy district attorneys. It shows the type of stable judges they have operating out of Orange County, CA:
Judge texted bailiff, clerk that he can't be in court next day because 'I just shot my wife,' jurors are told
A California judge admitted that he shot his wife in a text to court personnel, in a police car and when sitting alone in a police interrogation room, jurors were told Wednesday. Judge Jeffrey Ferguson of the Orange County Superior Court in California is accused of fatally shooting his wife in August 2023 while watching the AMC TV show Breaking Bad at their home and arguing about finances. Their adult son was also present.
