Bryan Godier is my latest guest on the podcast.
Bryan has quite a story to tell of the seedy corruption in St. Charles County Missouri, which is next door to St. Louis County.
Bryan crossed paths with several people who have previously come up in the investigation into St. Louis County family courts.
For instance, he had for some time as his attorney Ryan Munro.
Munro represents Melissa Hagemeier’s ex-husband in that case. Among other things, Munro attempted to subpoena to testify law enforcement investigators who were investigating his client for sexual molestation.
In this case, Bryan said Munro came in after several other attorneys who had performed in an unsatisfactory manner.
Bryan said Munro began pushing the usage of Art Nissenbaum for an evaluation.
Nissenbaum was purportedly necessary to counteract another bad evaluation.
Bryan told me he objected to all these evaluations, particularly when it was recommended his daughter get one.
As normally happens, court services are often hoisted on the litigants. That’s what happened in this case.
Nissenbaum is of course a major player in the Zoom Conference from last year.
Munro began pushing Nissenbaum before Bryan had seen the Zoom conference; he told me that watching it provided him with great knowledge and he could see what was being done to him.
What was being done is similar to what I’ve been showing in Orange County: the answer to every problem was the appointment of another court appointee.
Another attorney who Bryan had was Matt Frawley.
While Matt is not a familiar name, his father Thomas was a powerful judge in St. Charles County until his retirement in 2017.
Thomas Frawley was involved in at least one controversial case, as Megan Fox at PJ Media covered.
PJ Media met with parents in St. Louis who are telling the same horror story as Person and begging for authorities to protect their children from abusers before it’s too late for them. We sat down with Person and many other parents in the family courts who say their kids are in serious danger and got their stories. Part one of that interview is below. Theda Person is now married to a representative in the Missouri House, Mike Person.
“My child had a rare genetic disorder,” she said. “Without medication and a special diet he would die in 24 to 48 hours. They knew all of this and they allowed this tug of war to continue.” Person says that her judge was complicit as well. “Judge Thomas J. Frawley, he’s the judge that allowed all of this to transpire in his courtroom…if you don’t do what they say they make it hard for you.”
Person continued saying, “The truth will set you free, so they say. My life is forever changed.”
Bryan said that Matthew Frawley involved him in a scheme which required to put $2,000 for a “bond” to secure a temporary restraining order which would later be removed.
Bryan told me he believes the media is reluctant to cover these stories because they need resolution before providing coverage, and he believes there can be no reform before there is accountability.
By accountability, he means criminal indictments for the players in the scheme.
