GAL's have no training whatsoever in sexual abuse or assault cases. They are attorneys. They are investigating what medical doctors should be investigating and the family court is giving them this authority based on judicial discretion. Interviewing kids in the care of the alleged perpetrator defies logic. Let the medical doctors assess these kids; those who have an oath to do no harm and the expertise to make such assessments. They have a license where they are accountable whereas GAL's and psychologists do not.
