As I said then, the star of this hearing was her daughter, Kayla.
Melissa recently took a plea deal to plead guilty to “two counts of child abuse, class 3 felonies,” according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, which prosecuted the case.
They did their best to put a good face on this prosecution, but everyone involved should feel shame and embarrassment.
