Reed talked about on the podcast how he reported a female officer who left a gun unattended. He said he has been retaliated against since, in part because this officer was in an illicit affair with a high ranking officer.

Reed explained that the incidents are months old; they were not addressed at the time; in fact, he had a clean record for nearly a decade as a VA cop and all his disciplinary problems just happened to start after he reported this female officer.
