There was an episode of Law & Order Criminal Intent which featured serial killer groupies.

This discovery prompted Detective Alexandria Eames, played by Kathryn Erbe, to quip, “And I thought I was pathetic with my ABBA fan club card.”

Neither the serial killer groupies nor the ABBA fan club are as pathetic as the Jeremy Hales groupies, particularly those who start Facebook pages about his comings and goings.
