Real victims deserve real reporting. Family court destroys parents and children every day, but false martyr stories hand the machine exactly what it wants: an excuse to dismiss reformers as hysterical, reckless, and unserious. If Jessica Leigh faked her death, she did damage far beyond her own case. She exploited grief, hijacked advocacy, and weakened the credibility of parents with documented abuses, court records, transcripts, orders, and evidence. Compassion does not require gullibility. Skepticism is not betrayal. The rule should be simple: no corpse, no martyr; no documents, no certainty; no facts, no movement.
