Fresh off their stunning $1.5 million verdict, we talk about the key to the case and why the underlying child custody case remains ongoing.
I recently sat down with Lauren Haidon and one of her attorneys, Chad Davenport, of the law firm of Rupp and Pflazgraf.
Lauren won a stunning $1.5 million verdict late last year after a dirty Connecticut cop falsely arrested her in 2017.
We talked about the facts of the case, including the admission by the cop, Brendan Danaher, that his goal was to change the custody arrangement.
Check out the last ten minutes when it is revealed that the underlying child custody case remains open. Though her ex-husband, Matt Couloute, contributed significantly to this false arrest and he has barely been in their daughter’s life, he has received a multi-day hearing to try and change custody in April of 2024.
The judge who will preside over Couloute’s request is Judge Sharon Lovallo, who initially switched custody in 2017 and ordered Lauren’s arrest then.
Below check out the entire ten-minute conversation that Danaher had with Lauren in 2017. This is a key piece of evidence because Lauren told Danaher that her ex-husband was lying about the order which Couloute claimed Lauren was not following. She wound up emailing this order to Danaher. Danaher never followed up about this piece of evidence and never spoke to her again before seeking an arrest warrant.

These are over four hours. It’s another example of the bias that Danaher showed in this so-called investigation.

Well I would say this remind me of how custody was switched in my case: Hazel was diagnosed with vaginitis. The GAL claimed to the judge she feared doctor shopping. An ex parte removed custody from me. The trial 1.5 years later revealed the gal didn’t read the doctors reports. She hadn’t done her job.
