Michael Volpe Investigates Podcast The Impromptu: Episode 27 an Interview with Jim Singer

Jim lost his career for reporting suspected child abuse. That was in the 1980s; Jim explains why his story is relevant today.

Jim Singer joins me for the latest podcast.

Jim reported on child abuse- as he was mandated to do- in the 1980s and his whole career was destroyed, while the abuse was covered up.

I’ve previously covered Jim’s story in The Daily Caller and WND.

Jim’s story seems unbelievable; he was a psychologist in 1986 when a female minor patient reported that her father was molesting her.

“She very graphically, slowly, revealed that he had touched her in her private parts,” Jim told me.

Jim called in another doctor and the minor repeated the allegation.

Jim, as a psychologist, was a mandated reporter, meaning by law he was required to call Child Protective Services (CPS), which he did.
