Judicial RICO: The Answer to Judicial Abuse?
Modeled after the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), Judicial RICO is my attempt at holding judges and other court actors accountable for their corruption and abuse
In 2018, writing on the website, Write Your Laws, I shared my idea for holding judges and other court actors accountable.
I called it Anti-Case Fixing Statute or Judicial RICO and it’s modeled on the original RICO law, called the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
RICO was designed to go after the mafia specifically but any criminal enterprise.
The two so-called Mafia cops- Stephen Caracappa and Louis Eppolito- were charged under RICO.
Eppolito and Caracappa were two NYPD cops who moonlighted as hitmen for the Mafia.
