Judge Diane Walker

Despite an organized opposition, Judge Diane “Mengele” Walker easily won reelection in a retention election.

Those opposed to Walker were heartened because she got the least percentage- just under 75% of the vote.

Each judge, as such, was reelected with the best getting over 80%.

According to Facebook’s AI, this is not a surprise because judges are retained nearly 99% of the time.

This led me to a rabbit hole. I looked at my home Cook County elections for retaining judges next.

The results were similar, with the worst judge getting high 60’s and the best getting 80% +.
