On Monday, I brought an update on Jandy Rowell’s case, and by Monday evening, Jandy had finally been released from a Collin County, Texas jail.
Jandy had been in Collin County Jail since October 22, 2022, and she had been in a Tennessee jail since August before that.
the timing may be coincidental; her advocated, Michelle French told me over the weekend, “Due to the amount of threats from Amy and Cj to the jail and DA, we have had to make changes to bond conditions that were placed when she arrived, and she is an out of state resident. We are at the final stage.”
Then again, I don’t believe in coincidences.
Either way, Jandy, who is being charged with custodial interference and kidnapping, is no longer in jail, however, her plight is only beginning.
Michelle said she is now going to prepare for trial.
Jandy is being charged with kidnapping and custodial interference for purportedly violating a court order which granted her ex, Brad Pullins, custody, but this court order was in Louisiana, where her custody case remains.
It’s not clear if this issue will be raised by her current defense lawyer, Paul Belew.
Also, Jandy’s son has told at least two therapists that his father molests him: which may be why Jandy was not handing him over. Here is part of a letter from one therapist.
To Whom It May Concern:
I, Tiffani Robinson LPC-A, M.S., CSOTP, began seeing {their son} (James Pullins, DOB: 02/23/2017) on May 5th, 2022, as he transitioned from one therapist to myself, as his previous therapist was moving out of state. Upon our first session, {their son} reported during a game about emotions that he was angry at his father, as his father had touched his private area. {Their son} did not wish to discuss this further at this time. However, he regularly discusses, in session, that he does not want to talk to his father on the phone, but that he has to. We have discussed topics to talk to dad about, such as mindcraft ({their son’s} favorite game), to help initiate conversations with dad. He reports he does not want to talk to dad, because of “what he did.”
Thank you,
Tiffani Robinson, LPC-A, M.S., CSOTP
