I appeared yesterday with Ed Martin on The Pro America Report.

We talked about my recent article about how court orders are enforced in a haphazard manner.

We talked, for instance, about Kara Mikale Bendian.

He shared custody of a thirteen-year-old daughter with his ex-girlfriend, Kristin Haynes.

Earlier this year, he refused to return their daughter to her mother for Kristin’s custody time, arguing that their daughter had recently realized that her mother had been alienating her from her father and refused to return.

The court, in that case, accepted the explanation and started reunification therapy to try and get this thirteen-year-old to reduce her tension with her mother. This thirteen-year-old remains in the sole custody of her father, despite a court order saying otherwise.

Part of a March 2022 court order which seems to be ignored in this case.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Weinstein was recently arrested for saying, “I love you,” to her three children.

Why? She has a no contact order, and this interaction violated it.

These are just two examples of how haphazardly court orders are enforced.

There was one story which I should have included in my original piece but didn’t.
