Children need both fit, healthy parents. That is not a slogan. It is a developmental reality. When one parent can defy custody orders while police shrug and judges manufacture excuses, the child pays the price. Volpe’s report on Kilgore is maddening because the system did not merely fail to protect a father’s rights. It failed to protect the child’s relationship with reality, family, and stability. Maybe gender dysphoria has many causes. Fine. But cutting a child off from a loving father while the court lets the violating parent run the clock is not neutral. It is psychological terrain-shaping. HB 668 would have forced law enforcement to document and investigate custodial interference instead of hiding behind “civil matter” nonsense. That is exactly the kind of practical reform family court needs: enforce the order, document the violation, stop rewarding obstruction, and put children ahead of adult gamesmanship.

Custodial interference is a silent epidemic. I hope the results of this case will wake up the public to the consequences.

Read between the lines: Mom decided to sterilize her own daughter by affirming transgender cult narratives. Father is most probably more traditional and would not allow that if he discovers the truth. That is the reason why all visitations are sabotaged

Social transition (names/pronouns/clothes) makes identity feel real. Leads to blockers (stop puberty), then hormones (sterility), then surgery (permanent sterilization).

Affirmed (school/home): 80-95% proceed to blockers/hormones/surgery; 5-20% desist.

Refused by parents/school: 60-90% desist naturally; <10-20% proceed to medical path

Without immediate counter actions, Andrew Kilgore should be ready to see his daughter like that: google 'top surgery'.

That scenario is unlikely in Idaho. State law would never allow such a thing to a minor.

Will you bet $200 on that? With corrupt American judges and unhinged CPS/DCF, everything is possible.

FYI, do not be so naive:

The Jeff Younger Case (Texas): This highly public legal battle involved Jeff Younger and his ex-wife, Anne Georgulas, over their child, Luna. The mother supported a social and potential medical transition, while Younger fiercely opposed it. The case led to nationwide debate and inspired Texas politicians to investigate medical transition care as a form of child abuse

Jeff Younger's son didn't have any procedures done until he got to California. There is no way in Idaho that a minor has any trans surgery.

What would stop mother to move to sanctuary state?

Michael Volpe's avatar

He'd get custody. That violates the court order. Even Judge Stokes wouldn't ignore that.

Family court judges have no jurisdiction across state lines.

So - answer is nothing
