Cook County administrative judge identifies bribed judges
A new federal filing makes this allegation against Judge Regina Scannicchio.
Introduction
Gwen and Grace Girard will turn eighteen in February 2026, but their mother, Jane Girard, along with her attorneys from the Beermann LLP, are determined to fight until they’re eighteen in an effort to extract as much pain as possible from their father, Kenton Girard.
The two teenagers- fraternal twins- have refused all contact with their mother since 2022, after alleging she ran a house of horrors.
The court has refused to an enforce a longstanding custody order granting Jane 50% of the custody; instead, it’s opted to create a perpetual custody case, in a cynical money play.
With approximately seven months until the girls age out, Jane’s corrupt law firm Beermann- who Kenton alleges is running an organized criminal bribery scheme- are still angling to hold a custody trial.
The case remains in limbo, with outstanding issues in both state and federal court, but a new federal filing alleges that the presiding family law judge, Regina Scannicchio, identified the judges in Beermann’s pocket when she recently made an order choosing a new judge.

Already, four Cook County, Illinois judges have recused themselves from the case, including Judge Renee Goldfarb, a day after she was added to a RICO lawsuit, alleging she was involved in the bribery scheme.
After a recent recusal, Judge Scannicchio put the case up for random rotation, while excluding several Cook County judges.
The filing argues those judges- D (Edward Arce), 51 (Ellen Flannigan 3 ), 74 (Matthew Link), 61 (Michael Forti), 64 (Myron Mackoff), 98 (Lori Rosen), 85 (Bernadette Barrett) and 86 (James Shapiro)- aren’t corrupt, while those included in the rotation do Beermann’s bidding.
The full roster of Cook County domestic relations is here.

Jane has a team of lawyers at Beermann and that team is headed by Beermann henchman, Enrico Mirabelli. I called Mirabelli, but he didn’t respond to my voicemail for comment.
Beermann has blocked my email, making a phone call the only means of communication.
Also on the team is Matthew Elster. Fresh off destroying Jackie Johnson’s life in DuPage County, Elster is gung-ho to destroy another family.
he didn’t respond to a voicemail for comment.
I also left an email for Jane, who didn’t respond.
Judge Eileen O’Connor violates Kenton Girard’s first amendment right
One judge ready to do Beermann’s bidding is Judge Eileen O’Connor.
In June, Judge O’Connor threatened to sanction Kenton for something he filed in federal court.
The 1st amendment is largely known to give free speech, press, and religion; however, it also gives all Americans to freedom to petition the government to redress grievances, which included being able to go to court freely.
Judge O’Connor finds that right an inconvenience, and she thinks that she can control Kenton’s actions in federal court.
In a shocking June 2025 hearing, she had made a shocking threat.
She continued later with these scurrilous threats, “As I said at the outset, if you were a lawyer, I would almost find I was abusing my discretion by not entering some sort of sanction. You are a self-represented litigant, and so I am going to keep that in mind, but I am going to grant sanctions. If I could, I would bar you from ever suing them, but I can't. That's something I can do, prospectively. All I can do is enter sanctions for the actions have been taken in this litigation.”
Kenton alleges that Cook County judges are at the center of a bribery scheme, excluding them from a lawsuit is asinine, and the federal court has not dismissed his lawsuit yet.
The Beermann vexatious play
As all this unfolded, Beermann also filed recently in Cook County to declare Kenton vexatious, jail, fine, and frustrate him from filing more.
Kenton, largely acting pro se, has effectively frustrated Beermann and is close to running out the clock. Once his girls turn eighteen, they won’t be under the Cook County domestic relations court thumb.
Embarrassed at being outlawyered by a non-lawyer, Beermann is acting like any bully.
They’ve run to the court to issue draconian sanctions.
With seven months left, it’s clear that no one besides Kenton is looking out for his daughter’s best interest, the standard everyone is supposed to follow.
This continues because, as Gwen and Grace correctly stated in 2023, because both parents “have money.”
Check out my voicemail to Mirabelli about this.

Attorney Candace L. Meyers, mentioned in this article, was involved in my DuPage County matter. I disclosed personal information to her regarding my divorce but ultimately chose not to retain Beermann LLP. Months later, my husband, Dr. Sample, retained the firm, and attorneys Matthew Elster and Katheryn Nicholson Homburger used that confidential information against me—constituting a clear conflict of interest.
