Beermann off controversial suburban Chicago case

The law firm accused of taking bribes has asked to be recused from the Sample case.

In September 2024, I interviewed Jackie Sample about potential bribery between the judge in her divorce, James Orel, and the law firm representing her ex-husband, Dr. Madison Sample.

A bit more than two months later, Beermann has asked off the case.

Dr. Madison Sample is accused by Jackie of moving millions prior to asking for a divorce and then hiding that money from her.

Jackie initially consulted with Beermann, and they should not have been allowed to then take Dr. Sample on as a client. This is something she pointed out to Judge Orel repeatedly, but he didn’t care.

Now, that firm is asking off the case. The withdrawal should be official at a December 2, 2024, hearing.
