I was back on Jury Room yesterday to discuss What the Hales, the Arizona ad hoc committee on family court orders, and more.
Before getting into the heart of my discussion, let’s take a quick detour to some fun Richard Luthmann, Leslie Ferderigos, and I had on the last episode of The Unknown.
During our discussion, Richard stated that he wanted to reveal some strategy in his defense of the frivolous lawsuit Jeremy Hales has filed against him and ten other people.
Though Richard has not been served, he claimed he was ready to file a motion to air strike Hales home. He said that if judges could turn military planes around, they certainly had the power to order an air strike on Hales home. Cued up below.
The comment was made in jest, obviously, but not all the Hales crew saw it that way.
“That to me sounds like a threat, and it’s meant that way in my opinion.” One anonymous Hales supporter noted.
Yes, suggesting you’ll get a motion to air strike is meant to be a threat.
This is the upside-down world of Jeremy Hales; anything done to him is a tort or a crime.
Who can forget in February when he claimed that Richard and I were soliciting the violation of his restraining order, or something.
Hales is legally incomprehensible, but his fans don’t care. The swallow up the drama.
Worse yet, he claimed local police were actively investigating. That amounts to defamation- since they weren’t- if I ever wanted to sue.
With that context, the group talked about something his cohort Shizzy Whiz Nut sent to Leslie after she sued him.
Shizzy falsely claimed she was a disbarred lawyer and then doubled down and falsely claimed she retired to avoid disbarment.
